Hey Everyone,
I know some of you have already written about the virtual hosting abilities, however I wasn't able to find any answers that told me how to do it. Basically, I would just like to be able to have my two URL's come to one IP and then for Abyss to delegate the proper site based on the URL requested, which I am pretty sure is called Virtual Host. I read up on how to do it with apache, but I really like Abyss and have been using it on and off for over a year now. Sorry if I missed your article on this, but thanks for your time.

Their is a form that I wrote that allows you to program a PHP or Perl
script for something like virtual hosting , its very close to virtual hosting
but not quit the same because you cannot asign different paths for each
domain you host , so instead of the path / for each domain , it would be
/other_site but you can make it to where it showns just your-site.com
without it being shown as , your-site.com/other_site/ by using this website
that I created and don't worry , you can also download the script but sadly
enought , this website won't be available until Monday or Tuesday of next
week because I tried installing linux and my installation got corrupted so
now you have to wait untill next week to try it out , you can ask a forum member if they have a copy of Virtual Host Creator

And, if you can wait a little while longer, the new version will have actual virtual hosting support. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
