Hi, I am new to these forums. I have been trying to setup abyss web server and my port is stuck with "Listening Error". It was just fine this morning. Not sure if I messed up somewhere or not, I am a complete noob with this stuff. Also when I double click the application it gives me this, "Cannot listen to the console port. The console is not running". It was giving me this same error when the port was working. I would appreciate any and all help, thanks in advance! :)

Abyss may already be running in the background as a Windows service. Do these links work for you?

Console
http://127.0.0.1:9999/

Localhost
http://127.0.0.1/

Thanks for the reply! I found the solution after 2 days of messing with it. For some reason my router would not let me access port 81 at all so I had to create a new port. Now I am able to host my site :) I am a very happy camper now lol.

Since version 2.8/2.9, Abyss Web Server displays a hint in such situations asking you to verify whether a second instance (such as a Windows service is running or not.) This should have put you on the right track.

(By the way, we replied to your email on a timely manner but Google refused to accept it stating it was spam.)
