:?:
What does one need and how does one go about installing and setting up ASP Support on Abyss for Linux?
has anyone achieved that and if yes is it possible to give me an example of the changes I need to do?
It might sound dumb but I havent seen anything describing ASP support for the Linux version on the Site.
Thanks in advance |

ASP support on non-Windows systems is hard to find. On Linux (and some other Unixes), there is ChiliASP but it is overpriced and not suitable for a normal use. _________________ Support Team

Does Aprelium Technologies Plan on supporting ASP on the Linux version of Abyss in future releases?
or could there be a way to incorporate already existing apache asp libraries to Abyss?
Would be great since Abyss is really easy to configure, more so than Apache (at least that's what I think :D ) |

DOSida,
Apache::ASP (although it its name contains Apache) works on Abyss. But this is not the ASP people are used to. We mean that Apache::ASP is a Perl dialect of ASP whereas most people use the Visual Basic dialect of ASP.
To use it, you must install Perl support in Abyss and then install Apache::ASP in http://www.apache-asp.org (use the CGI version). _________________ Support Team
