im doing web hosting and wondered if was posible to put a cgi bin inside a folder?
what i mean is when a user signs up their url is http.spacefree.co.uk/theirname
the their name bit is created as a folder in my pc by defaul it contains an index.htm and an images folder when the account is created. is it possible to put a cgi-bin inside the users folder or if not iss there any way i could run scripts for them?like counters etc? |

Yes, it is possible. Just play with CGI Paths settings and the job will be done.
For example in your case, create the cgi-bin subdirectory in theirname directory. Then add /theirname/cgi-bin in the CGI Paths. And it's all. _________________ Support Team

Yes, it is possible. Just play with CGI Paths settings and the job will be done.

Abyss Web Server has only one place from where you configure it. It is its console.
Open the console, choose Server Configuration, then Advanced, then CGI Parameters and you'll find the CGI Paths.
