Instead of having a 403 error come up for wrong password access, I want it to point back to my main page or there abouts. Any suggestions??????

It is error 401 that happens with bad passwords.
Anyway, to associate an error with a custom error page, open the console, select Server configuration > Advanced > Custom Error Pages and press Add... .
Enter 401 in the error code and / in the associated URL. / is you main page virtual path.
Press OK and then press restart.
