Im interested in writing my own software and i was told i could use Visual Basic or C++. Can someone please point me in the right direction of some good VB tutorials that they know of.
I want to create a small image viewer or editor but i have no idea where to start. Any links will be very helpfu;

VB will be outdated soon, though. Try learning C++, or better yet, Java.
