I have Abyss x1.2.6 and I am trying to run my asp.net program remotely

The program runs smoothly over the lan
However when people access it using my external ip..they get connection errors saying the url is misformed
I have disabled my windows firewall and disabled my internet security av
i am clueless..could someone help me here !!
