I am gettign this error and I don't know how to fix it:
Abyss Web Server X1 (v 2.6)

In 90% of the cases, the console listening problem occurs only because you already have another instance of Abyss Web Server already running on your computer.
But in some case, this means that there is another application on your computer that is already using the port you've configured Abyss Web Server console to use.
You can use CurrPorts in Windows and the command (netstat -t -l -p ) in linux to see what ports all running processes are using.
If the application that is taking Abyss Web Server's console could not be stopped, edit abyss.conf file (using any text editor), locate at the end of the file the section enclosed between <console> and </console> and manually update the console port number (it is in this section between <port> and </port>). Save the file and restart abyssws. _________________ Support Team

Thanks for that link Aprelium! That program can really come in handy for diagnostics.
Since it shows what program initiated the connection, it makes it easier to spot viruses or other malware accessing the internet. _________________ Stephen
