I own stevenborthick.com. I checked with proxies and it's not working.

I registered with register.com. When I had my DNS servers pointing at bravehost, my site worked fine.

I tried using Abyss and pointing the DNS servers at my computer that I got from 198.162.0.1 (my router) there was two names that I put in to register.com's DNS.

The first DNS server provided was "dnsr1.sbcglobal.net". Cool, that one was perfect.
Second one was "dns1.ksc2mo.sbcglobal.net", but register.com told me that it was spelled incorrectly. ???
So I replaced the second one with "dnsr2.sbcglobal.net", and although register.com accepted it, it still doesn't work.

I'm not a computer geek so I don't know any of the fancy terminology.
Is there something I need to do about blocking or sharing internet connections? And I do I point stevenborthick.com to index.html on my computer?

Thanks.

Steven, welcome to the forums.
You should change to register.com's nameservers and direct your domain name to your IP Address using an "A Record".

BTW, this is not a tutorial so I'm moving this to Networking Issues. ;)

Okay, cool, thanks. I've changed the A Record to this:
(following parentheses indicate insert text boxes...)
(empty space) .stevenborthick.com points to (70.249.216.191)
(www) .stevenborthick.com points to (70.249.216.191)

I decided to leave my DNS servers at :
dns010.d.register.com
dns039.c.register.com
dns104.b.register.com
dns212.a.register.com

Is that a problem or should I find out how to make them at swbell.net since that's our provider?

I would think standard wireless router and gigabit switch. Not sure on the print server though. Dont you need a network printer for that? Does he have one?
