When I try to install Ikon Board I get this error,
You must install the DBI suite of modules. Visit CPAN for more information.
I do not understand, It says I need this installed but why and how? |

Open ActivePerl PPM (Perl Package Manager), then at the PPM prompt, type
and it will be installed.

Usually when a php scripts comes up blank it possibly has something to do with register_globals being off... Search for register_globals = off in your php.ini file and switch it to on "register_globals = on"

Nevermind I got PPM to finnaly stay open but now I can't install IkonBoard with mySQL because it doesn't have DBD installed, heres the error I got:
The error returned was: install_driver(mysql) failed: Can't locate DBD/mysql.pm in @INC (@INC contains: ./ ./Sources ./install_modules C:/Perl/lib C:/Perl/site/lib .) at (eval 13) line 3.
Perhaps the DBD::mysql perl module hasn't been fully installed,
or perhaps the capitalisation of 'mysql' isn't right.
Available drivers: ExampleP, Proxy.
at install_modules/database.pl line 200
Has Aprelium ever sucessfully installed Ikon Board with Abyss?
And how do I install DBD with mySQL? |

We already installed IkonBoard on Abyss without any problem. We followed the installation intructions and all went fine.
It seems that you have another missing module, so install it (in that case, it is better to ask IkonBoard support for help since your problem is caused by their script and your Perl installation).
