This is my first time ever getting perl and cgi to work on my abyss web server and I didn't even have to define any kind of path to perl it was so simple I just followed the instructions and bam its finished , but there's only one problem

I WANT SOME FREE PERL AND CGI SCRIPTS PLEASE !

If you have any useful perl or cgi scripts please post them here,

THANK YOU ! 8)

Thanks vbgunz, now I got perl and php working , I set up perl by myself with no help after all those months I finally done it, but I have one more question, do you have to set a path in a perl script

EXAMPLE: #!usr/bin/perl :D

Be prepared to tweak a few files on every script you download... Look for a doc directory, install (no extension) files and readmes and you'll quickly see most files require you edit just a few lines...

Most common edits to be faced with is:

1. db type (MySQL, Postgre, etc)
2. db user and pass
3. Absolute system paths to related files.
4. Relative system paths to related files.
5. URL to how to access the script.
6. Script specific settings and configuration.

Not really a big deal after your first few... You'll get the feel for it sooner or later and when you do you can pretty much navigate your way through new scripts rather quickly...

Good luck :)
