Getting strange message

Hello,

I downloaded the free verson and when I install in Leopard I get the following message in the Abyss Web Server terminal Window.:

Cannot write the process ID to log/abyssws.pid (key: root/server/parameters/opsys/pidfile - file: /Applications/abyss.conf - line: 18 - col: 4)

Can someone help ?

lepord, that Mac OS right?

eitherway you should go to the log folder in the abyss install folder, make sur eyou have access and all that good stuff.. make sure it exists too.. -nod-

The problem is that you have not copied the entire "Abyss Web Server" folder in the DMG package to your Applications folder. You've instead open that folder and only copied the "Abyss Web Server" application bundle to your Application folder.

We suggest that you conform to the instructions in the "Installation Instructions" file in the DMG file.
