I have php 5, phpmyadmin and mySQL 4.1 installed and im running webspell (clan CMS) as well as phpbb on my server and it was working perfectly fine for the last 4 months. Now I have the problem that whenever I visit either page, it works for a while (a few clicks) but then my browser spits out an error.

Quote:
The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

After that my site is inaccessible and this message is displayed everywhere. But through localhost everything works perfectly fine.
-further information
Im connected through a router
This problem persists even if abyss is rebooted
Problem is only solved by rebooting the machine

Pls ask if you need more information, because this thing is really bothering me

greolian,

In such a case, it's either the router or a firewall on your computer which is not behaving correcly. That's why the reboot helps.

What is the firewall you're using? Have you tried disabling it?

We suggest trying disabling the ashampoo firewall for a few hours to check if the behavior is caused by it.
