| I used to have abyss web server on my computer with php installed, then i uninstalled php and abyss for more hd space. But now when i try to install php on my other computer it dosent work, i followed all instructions, and even tryed to reinstall it on my other computer, and it didnt work either, but i had it working a few weeks ago, on the exact same machine! I even tried using the regular php package, and it still doesnt work. All it does when i open the php file in my browser is load, load, load, i left it on, just to see what would happen after an hour, and it was still loading! please help me solve this problem! |

Check the Abyss Web Server folder for a log file named "cgi.log", and tell us if it's empty. If it is not empty, post the last lines of that log file in your next reply so that we may be able to assist you. Also, is your server accessible from other computers not on the network? Your problem sounds like a connection related problem rather than a PHP problem. Make sure your server is online and accessible.

| If the PHP you installed is 5.2.4 then probably you just have to set your scripting parameter for PHP to STANDARD instead of PHP STYLE as was suggest in the PHP 5.2.4? thread above. Sounds like your running into the infinite loop issue. Hope this helps! |

Sounds like a problem in php.ini
Your extension folder is set incorrectly.

The error messages you are getting suggest that you have several configuration issues with your php.ini parameters.
Are you using our preconfigured PHP 5 package available from http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php5win.html ? If not, we recommend using it as it will save you hours tweaing your php.ini .
