Hi-

My ISP (FIOS) has blocked port 80, what port should I port-forward to instead?

ISP- Verizon FIOS
Dynamic IP, using NO-IP.com
Dlink Router, Di-624
Windows XP
Using Windows Firewall, but have it disabled till I get Abyss up and running.
AVG Firewall

I have installed Abyss so that I can view localhost no prob. But cannot view from Web, so I need a new port forward...which one?
Thanks

Most people that have their port 80 blocked will use ports such as...
8000, 8080, 8888, or 81.

These are just examples.
You can use any port that isn't already being used by another program.

Thanks-
I have now tried 80, 81, 8080, and 1000...
It is currently set on 1000, and I can view localhost just fine. But STILL no go from the web,

What setting should I have NO-IP set on? I currently have it set on Port 80 redirect, and then 1000 for the port...is this wrong?

Or can I ONLY set an HTTP port between 80 and 25? I Just spoke with FIOS qand they said that ports 25-80 are definitely blocked.

How do I do this?

Thanks

Are you sure your ISP blocks those ports? Maybe you don't (or improperly) have the ports forwarded. Also your router may not support loopback.
