When i try to login in to my phpMyAdmin page i get this error:

Code:
Error
#2003 - The server is not responding

Im not sure if this is a phpMyAdmin error or a MySQL error.
The little traffic light icon for MySQL in the system tray is red and not green.
This maybe the problem but i dont know how to solve it.

Thankyou.

MySQL is not running. Use the icon on the tasktray, and click Start Service, its in one of the menu's which I think is "NT".

If it won't start, restart the computer.

Moved to Database Issues

Do you have it configured correctly?

TomBullock,

Which version of MySQL have you installed? The best one (which causes the less headaches) comes in an MSI installer: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.0.html#win32 (Windows Essentials).
