I set up Abyss I think correctly, I forwarded my (now) static IP and set up the virtual server on my router, but people are still not able to connect to my web page. Any ideas?

Did you forward the ports in your router?

I believe so. I went through the process that was posted at http://www.portforward.com. I did everything it told me to.

And, I change my computer to a static IP address as was instructed at http://www.portforward.com/networking/static-xp.htm.

OK, this is confusing me a bit.

I set up my static IP at 192.168.0.136. Do I forward that one or the "real" ip address (24.24.240.11)?

In your router you forward the local IP, in your domain you put in the real IP.

Local IP=192.168.0.136? I did that. It's a static IP that I set up on my computer.

Where do I put the real IP address?

Into your domain name settings.

OK, whatever I did seems to work now. I had somebody test it out. Can you also test it to make sure?

http://24.24.240.11

Now all I need to do is get my domain name attached to my server.
