Are you sure that you installed PHP correctly and specified the correct php.exe as the interpreter that handle file whose extension is php?
If so, try running PHP at the command line (in a DOS window) to see if there are no missing DLLs problems. _________________ Support Team

Follow the instructions at http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php.html exactly. If you do so, you should have PHP scripts run ok. _________________ Support Team

Abyss Web Server supports php files. This is a fact and thousands of people use it daily with PHP with no problem. So please do not think you're discovering a big bug.
If there is a bug, it is with your settings.Post here the contents of your abyss.conf file or send it to support@aprelium.com so that we can check it for you. _________________ Support Team

hi, well i have very minimum experience in web servers, in fact, i only installed abyss a few days ago. i also only know the basics of php programming, however, 30 minutes ago, i downloaded and configured php binary from www.php.net and then followed your tutorial on configuring abyss to run php scripts, and all is perfect :D i didnt even have to restart my server, well... had to restart abyss obviously.
id just like to say thanks and good luck to the os17fan and spyrosul, it is possible to run php scripts, though if you used the manual install of php, after copying the .ini file to the windows directory, remember to rename it, for example, if it was php.ini-recommended ..rename it to php.ini ..the installation tutorial didnt mention this and i feel this maybe where the problem is.
thanks again, abyss is great :D |
