If I have Microsoft Internet Information Services 5.0 installed (which comes with an ASP interpreter) and decide that it sucks too much for me to use and that the aprelium server is quite the opposite, can I use the asp interpreter like a cgi interpreter even though it is a DLL instead?
I guess my question really is, can I add a cgi interpreter and point it to the asp interpretation dll and add the asp extension and it work?
Thank you |

I don't think you can use the IIS dll's for processing *.asp pages... But there are some third-party ASP processor solutions... I don't know if they will work with Abyss, but here is the link http://www.chilisoft.com/chiliasp/ |

Abyss Web Server doesn't support ASP for two reasons:
* It doesnt' support ISAPI execution (ISAPI have the same concept as CGIs but are DLLs)
* ASP is deeply dependant on IIS. _________________ Support Team
