Are you trying to set this up for Abyss? or Battlefield 2?

If it's for Abyss, you need to be looking at this tutorial...

Are you sure you're entering the correct local ip of your pc and
not the default gateway of your router?

Open a cmd prompt, type ipconfig and hit enter.

Yeah I'm sure
.1 for the computer that abyss is installed on
.2 is for my laptop
.
.
.
etc

this is the reply for ipconfig
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.254.1
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.254.254

I can use ping command between them and every thing is working
I think the problem is in the router configration

I would suggest that you re-read the instructions one more time.
Follow them exactly.

Also, turn off your firewall to test if that's the problem.

Any model linksys router should work fine providing it is compatible with your ISP.

Linksys is dead easy to use in terms of port forwarding etc. But Id keep at your current router for a while. You never know, you might sus it out.

Is your connection through a proxy or do you live in Dubai ?
Does your IP change when you restart your pc ?

You 100% get 217.164.100.236 if you try this http://www.aprelium.com/ip/

You should be running your server on port 80 for the www (i think)

Do you get any listening errors ?

Use www.abyssunderground.co.uk/ip the aprelium plus some other links doesn't always get your real IP.

I live in UAE , I have dsl connection
my IP changes every time I ewconnect to the internet
I know that i shuold run my server on 80 , but our ISP is blocking this port as I think , thats why I am using other port and it works fine with normal modem

Finding out your IP Address information...
It was detected that you are behind an ISP transparent proxy.
Your Real IP Address is: 217.164.....etc ( same as ipconfig and whatismyip.com )
Your Real DNS is: auh-as44697.alshamil.net.ae
Your Proxy IP Address is: 195.229.242.84
Your Proxy DNS is: ig890d2o.emirates.net.ae
