Hello everybody
I already read the manual and I got a security warning and fixed as described in the faq.
but php scripts still don't get executed.
My test page is in the htdocs-dir and is named" index.php".
I open it throught http://127.0.0.1:8000/index.php
I work with redhat 8.0 if that matters.
How can i get php to work ?
tanks matthias
ps. sorry for my bad english :) |

What does that mean? Do you mean that you get an error? Do you have the source code of the PHP file diplayed? Please be more precise when you report an error so that we can help you efficiently. _________________ Support Team

Please follow *exactly* the instructions at http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php.html . If the problem still happens, don't hesitate to notify us.
In such a case, tell us how did you configured the PHP support in Abyss Web Server and what version of PHP are you using. _________________ Support Team

Abyss Web Server supports every CGI scripting language. PHP is one of them regardless of the version.
Since we don't know how your system is setup, you should investigate yourself what is preventing PHP from working. And as we said before, start by applying *exactly* all the instructions in http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php.html .
Abyss Web Server works in conjunction with PHP on tens of thousands of computers around the world. So the problem you face seems to be related only to your computer and/or installation.
If you still have problems, please send us your abyss.conf file (after installing PHP support) to support@aprelium.com so that we can check it. Please do not forget to remind us your issue in the mail and to be as precise as possible when describing it. _________________ Support Team
