Abyss Web Server does not support multiple domains , if you want seperate domains , create new folders inside your htdocs folder in make domains like geocities does , and from than on all you have to do is , link to those folders using a redirection service like dot.tk
Here's some examples
http://www.site1.tk
goes to
http://your-domain.com/site1/
http://www.site2.tk
goes to
http://your-domain.com/site2/
Thats my only sugestion for you  _________________ This web server is the best ! |

i already do that its jus that
wen i make dns point to my ip adress
it goes like a regular domain
like
mysite.uhhuh.com
im tryin
ta get sumthin like
mysite.uhuh.com
and
theothersite.uhhuh.com
when i do the other site
it acts as a cloaked url instead of a
regular domain name
if its not possible
den i jus keep
my site _________________ Dark Dragon

Hosting multiply domain on one Webserver = Yes.
You can do a "subhosting".
Create a new alias ... ie - domainhost1 and make a subfolder ... ie HTDOCS\domainhost1. Do the same for another ... ie domainhost2 ... etc... and it subfolder.
Next, goto your domain register to manager your domain. Use redirect or point to your abyss server to HTDOCS\domainhost1\ or it index.html. Same go with other domain.
So the key is to direct your domain to the right subfolder or index.html of your abyss that hold that content. Point to the specific file HTML if autoindex is turn off. Otherwise you can leave it blank if "Autoindex" is turn ON.
So, from the URL, you can just enter domainhost1.com it will goto HTDOCS\domainhost1 folder and it page. The same with other domain you want to add on. _________________ CapFusion,... |
