I am using PHP to set up an intranet. Our network uses Exchange mail server. What settings should I use in php.ini instead of the smtp.etc.etc address to get mail generated by PHP to go to the Exchange server?
Thanks for any answers!

You should put the name (or the IP) of the machine on which Exchange is running as the value of the smtp parameter in php.ini . _________________ Support Team

Thanks!
Linking to the name of our server doesn't seem to work, but the powers that be have hidden the Network Neighbourhood settings from us mere mortals, so I shall try and find out the IP address!!
Incidentally, our Exchange server is set to work with X400 addressing (another legacy!), does that change the way I need to interact with it using PHP and Abyss??

That question is related to PHP only, Abyss just tells PHP to run the scripts and send the output to the borwser.
Since your question is very technical, you may have the best answer if you post it on the official PHP support forum (www.php.net). _________________ Support Team
