Even though my server is case insensitive (runs on windows) I wish to force all inbound urls lowercase and provide the 301 so that search engines that are case sensitive will not get in a bind tracking things.

I've found several commands to switch to lowercase yet none seem work in Abyss. Does anyone know the right command reference?

This one suggests that \L$1\E would do the trick, but it doesn't...

I know this is an old topic, but does anyone have any idea how it could be done? Nothing I've tried so far has worked.

Changing the case of a captured match ($1...$9) is not possible in the current URL rewriting module. This could be added and we suggest that you contact our technical support by email for further discussion about a possible workaround.
