Hey guys,
Ok so here's the deal. I have my Abyss server sitting behind my firewall and that's connected to a 1Mb/up (on a good day) 6Mb/down connection. Well we just started doing video webcasting and my connection is getting absolutely hammered. I've got access to a T1 and want to switch over to that. However I don't want to lose traffic while the DNS propogates. So my questions is can I put a second NIC in the computer, set it to the new public IP, and will the Abyss web server automatically use both connections.

If it will use both connections will it automatically respond using the connection that it received the request on or can you default it to a specific connection (e.g., the T1 connection).

Thanks for your help,

Newsboy

newsboy9,

Please verify that your "Bind to IP Address" field in :

Abyss Web Server Console :: Hosts - Edit - Default Host On Port 80 :: General :: Edit - Advanced Parameters

is set to "*" and that all your network interfaces accept connections on port "80".

With such a setting, Abyss Web Server will listen to connections on all your available NIC cards.
