I've created an app for nurses and am looking to Abyss to provide .NET web services since IIS does not run on XP Home and the platforms I'm looking at are the Netbook varity.

Can Abyss take care of the IIS issues? I'm not doing fancy stuff (no 3rd party controls).

I'm trying not to make the web apps into windows forms since I want the same look-n-feel on the Netbooks as on the main server, thus a web-based interface.

Thoughts/Suggestions?

Abyss should be able to support .NET 3.

ASP.NET 3.X support is available in Abyss Web Server. The best to do is to download the free edition X1 and give it a try with your application. This shouldn't take more than a few minutes to set everything up.
