Is there any program (add on) that i can use to watch users in real-time that is currently on my website? Im looking for something that shows their IP and what they are downloading. You know, something like what can be found using a ftp server program such as ServU or the similar.
Realtime would be best :)
thanks |

No, but you could use log analyzing software and get very recent activity. _________________ -Blake | New Server :D

I know there exists a viewer that watches the tail end of your logfile and reports activity as it happens, but it's a bit glitchy: while scanning the logfile it prevents reads, so on a busy server the logfile will skip more and more entries as the file grows larger. It also requires a fairly fast pipe, so on a local machine it's very fast, on a LAN machine it'll be really good still, but if your server's on another continent (as mine is) it really falls over fast.
It's been years since I used it, so I've forgotten the name, but I know it exists. =) |
