Hi,

I have a small "exe" file which runs quite happily within the CGI-BIN folder.

The file generates/runs various HTML pages based on user selections, etc.

As a result, I now wish to include a <?php statement ?> within the HTML pages being generated.

The problem is that, according to various internet sites, it is not possible to run PHP coding within the cgi-bin folder (needs to be outside the folder), even if that coding is within an HTML page.

However, I've also been advised that it is not possible to run an "exe" file outside a cgi-bin folder, hence the reason for there being a cgi-bin folder in the first place.

Any ideas ?????

Perhaps I should add the the "exe" file is a compiled IRIE PASCAL file, rather than the usual type of cgi file.

Many thanks,

Pete

Abyss does not require a cgi-bin to execute any scripts. If the server is properly configured php and exe's can be ran from any location that the server has access to.
