My ISP blocks port 80, so I use port 443. I do not want to use other ports because I do not want :number appended to my address.

With port 443, all interfaces need https:// in the front of the address. But the default is http://. Like when I type mydomain.com, browser returns http://mydomain.com.

Is there a way to automatically redirect the http to https? Or is there a way to default to https:// instead of http://?

Unfortunately there isn't. If you had access to port 80 you could redirect like you want, unfortunately your problem also creates that problem.

Thanks for a quick reply.

May be I am wrong, I was told IIS and Apache have this redirect feature. I am looking for the same feature in Abyss. Will we have this feature in the near future?

This feature is already present. The problem is that there is nothing to redirect from, as port 80 is made unavailable. No web server software will help you here.

Your ISP just does not direct traffic to you for that port, so you can only redirect traffic which does not reach you anyway.

if you have a router that will direct traffic from 80 to 443 that might work, but i haven't seen one in a while, i used to have one (and it worked great)
