Go into the Abyss console and choose Configure > General of your host. Make sure you have both added to Host Names.

For example...
mysite.com
www.mysite.com

More info... http://www.aprelium.com/data/doc/2/abyssws-win-doc-html/hosts-configuration.html
Also, be sure the settings at your domain registrar have www configured correctly.

In which case its not an Abyss problem but rather a DNS problem.

You will have to add a DNS entry with the name "www" and point it to your IP.

I finally have Abyss x2.
and I did what he said..
I typed in www.spherero.com into the web through my own computer but then it says that it's not there.
If I try to access it manually using my lanip or a loopback ip the website is invisible, i mean I just see blank.

I use OpenDNS and it says the www record doesn't exist, hence why I said its a DNS issue.

Ok now i figured out the blank page thing..
The hostname thing prolly doesn't work because abyss has a listening problem if i use port 80 that's why I use 8080.
Is there anyway or guide or what ever program to uninstall so that port 80 will be enabled w/o listening errors?

Download and run CurrPorts to see what is using port 80.

Common culprits are Skype and MySpace IM.

You can stop it using those ports and it won't affect their operation. It uses 80 by default, but it can be changed to something else in options.

Really?
How?
Specify plox..
Anyway, I found something that uses port 80.
Here's a screenshot:
Could you tell me what it is?

And I also found the port my webserver was running on it was 8080 and it said it's state was listening. Is that normal?
