I've been reading my JavaScript book for a while now, and I'm currently on Chapter 10. During my journey through JavaScript, I created a neat little web safe color customizer to test my JavaScript skills; and so I'm going to share it with you guys. You can adjust the color Intensity levels for Red, Green, and Blue. Hope you like it!

Can you explain to me how it doesn't work in Opera 9.25? I have the latest version and it works just fine for me.

It also falls to work for me in Opera 9.26.

EDIT: It works fine for me in Firefox 2.0.0.12, but not IE 7.

What browser did you test it on, trustabyss?

I have IE6. Here's what I get, no matter what color or percentage I click on (the line number does change, though):

I'm hoping the bugs get worked out of this! It'll be a nice reference to have.

The bug has just been fixed. Now try it! ;-)

It originally worked on the Firefox browser, but I changed the code a little before uploading the finished script. Maybe that caused the bug? Anyway, Opera and I.E. both support the script now. Enjoy!

It now works in both IE7 and Opera. I don't know about Firefox as I don't have access to it on this computer.

Just a suggestion -- replace the option fields with input (text) boxes that allow even finer control over the coloring.

MMT Color Comparator is a program I wrote that's very similar in feature. Maybe you can build a JavaScript version of it? It would be a pretty nice Internet-Based tool...

I don't have any option fields in this particular script. Are you talking about the Radio buttons?

I've been reading my JavaScript book since January 28th, but today marks the end for my Journey through JavaScript. The last three chapters just show you some useful tips and bookmarklet examples, so I skipped them. Now that I'm finished with my JavaScript book, I can start learning AJAX. I came across many distractions while reading the book, but I never stopped reading it. By the way, this book has also helped me to understand the DOM in PHP. AJAX here I come!

To those who wish to purchase the book that I just finished reading, go here:
