zen-cart is a exccelent ecommerce program

requirements

1.abysswebserver
2.phpmyadmin
3.zen-cart
4.mysql

first step is to download zen cart
then extract the files into htdocs
the third step is to go to your web browser and enter http://ip/shoppingcartfile/
and the install page should come up go through and answer all the questions and your done.

I tried this and I get the page can't be found thing. and in another server i have. Might be my problem trying to run 2 servers on one computer, but at one time i figured out how to use another one, but i did this with the other server i have and it show the directory for that part. what am i doing wrong?

Ok. i got the server running and it did the same thing. but how do i install zen cart? i typed it what is said when i installed it on my website host, but it shows the files and stuff here.

Zen-Cart requires PHP.
Do you have that installed?

Yes. I have a folder that says php in my C:> program files. is that what you are talking about or does it need to be in another area?

You need to configure Abyss Web Server with PHP support.

Try this!

Note: I provided mine because I show you how to configure your php.ini file for
the recommended settings. I'm hoping that this helps you install it more easily.

I have php set to abyss server on my computer. :) I like the way you have your page set up. As far as I know I read all the direction on the pdf file for the server and got that done rught, unless i missed something.

When I try to install zen cart it says it needs curl for SSl. Where and how do you install it on a win xp system?

Open your php.ini file and uncomment "extension=php_curl.dll" by removing the semicolon.
