Hi,
I love my Abyss server and it works perfect! But, I've got an issue were I need to create a form that people fill out and then have it append the data to a database that a local excel program can open.
Here's what I've found so far:

Looks fairly easy to set up, I think. Do you forsee any issue with setting this up first? Here's the details:
http://www.tectite.com/formmailpage.php
It asks what kind of server will it be running on... What do you call and Abyss server running on a Windows XP computer? Or running on a Mac OS X Tiger one for that matter?
Thanks for your time and a great web server!!! |

Abyss would be defined as a HTTP server (Web Server). If it only has the option for Apache/IIS, use this as its the same thing. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Denis,
Thanks. :) PHP scripts are usually fairly Web server agnostic and will work on any Web server that supports PHP regardless of its type. Some script authors may ask for the server type but this usually makes a little difference and has no incidence on how the script will work.
If you're on Mac/Linux, you can choose Apache even if you're using Abyss.
On Windows, you can choose IIS or Apache. _________________ Support Team
