I don't get it. It worked fine in ii5. now it has gone haywire. What can I do????

anna,
Can you explain us more in what context you get this message?

IT all depends on the site. on one site www.personalizedtreasures.com when you go through the cart function (which you can do without totally checking out. It says object moved.

I get the same error on my other sites as well www.usababynews.com has the same problem. when someone logs in and they have to put in there password etc. the error comes up. when you click here it passes you through to the page you are supposed to be on.

I don't know why this happens I have a feeling it has to do with ahtml (because the prob is happening on asp sites) but I am not sure.

If anyone knows how I can either fix this or cover it up so that it doesn't look so unprofessional that would be great. I mean even a loading page would look better than a stark white page that says OBJECT MOVED click here.

It just screams newbe to my customers.

Thanks again
Anna

how are you passing information around?

are you using session objects?

If you're getting OBJECT MOVED...I'm guessing a session timed out or closed on you.

Have you checked over Microsoft's Knowledgebase for the error?

posting your code may help...pointing us to an ASP won't help cause all the source code is stripped out when the page is parsed.

I know this problem! I got this error too much and don't want to see this page no more!

here,

-> When I redirect the user to the main page after the member login, it redirects to default.asp and I use Server.Execute to show portal in default.asp

-> Memberlogin redirects to default.asp and default.asp redirects to default.asp?P=Portal

And this time I got the error that we are talking about. "Object Moved!"
