i just installed 2.5 for the https..went step by step gerenating the ssl ..set the router to forward port 443. made sure the firewall would let abyss use port 443 and now the linksys asks me to login before letting me get to my webpage...im i missing somthing? why would the router stop me from accesing the webserver? i rechecked the linksys setting i didnt set anything extra just to forward the port 443 not any password to get in stuff...also what should be checked in the tcp/udp setting in the router for the port?

Sounds like the routers remote access is on that port. You either need to turn it off or change the port in the settings.
