Anyone have experience using abyss with Sasltel? I was using Shaw cable in Alberta, no problems. Now in Sask. And using Sasktel, I cant get it going no matter what I do. I have updated my ip address with my DNS host, forward the port on Sasktels HomeNet Gateway ( Sasktels modem and router) Still nothing.
Thank you |

Hey there, MrWhite101. Welcome to the forums.
I'm seeing your web page now. (Edmonton Alive)
It probably just took awhile for your DNS changes to take effect. |

Hello. Thank you for the reply. Strange that you can see it, I still cant. I wonder then if its just that I cant get to it over my network, but how could that be? |

It's possible that your router doesn't support loopback.
What make/model is your router?
You can always use a proxy to view your site, like Proxify.com. |

Thank you. I think you are on to something. The proxy worked perfectly. As for the router it is one that Sasktel gives out that is part of the modem you get from them. They call it the HomeNet Gateway. |
