Can I claim the record for the longest total days of uptime for Abyss X2? According to my console the details are:-

Total Uptime : 24825:12:34:05 Day(s):Hour(s):Minute(s):Second(s)
Uptime since Last Restart : 0:00:01:01 Day(s):Hour(s):Minute(s):Second(s)

It appears I have been running Abyss for a little over 68 years! I think that means it started out life as a Z80 or maybe even an 1802 processor based system!

Strange. Anyway, what really matters is time since last restart. :) For example, as of this writing, I haven't restarted my server for 17 days.

That may have been a bug from previous Abyss versions. And as you installed later versions of Abyss via an upgrade route, the erroneous log stuff just got carried over.

Not sure that it is a bug carried over from previous versions, as I hadn't seen it until yesterday when I upgraded to 2.5. Not really a bug more an interesting improvement opportunity!

Prior to the upgrade I was at 250+days so stability of Abyss can't be complained about.

My Abyss has moved servers about 10 times since I started using it. Just copying the persist file over keeps the uptime data.

dancingbear,

Can you please send your persist.data file to support@aprelium.com? Thanks in advance.

dancingbear,

Thank you for sending us the file. The value there suggests that at some point, the uptime counter value was set to (-1) by error. The mistaken value was dumped in persist.data after being converted to an unsigned integer (hence the large value).

We're currently checking our code to determine under which conditions the uptime was set to such a value. The problem will be fixed in the coming release.
