|
|
Does anyone know how i can recover my username and password for phpMyAdmin. I changed my directory type in Abyss to 'Disabled' and now when i try to access http://example.com/phpmyadmin/index.php it asks me to login with a username and password. The problem is i dont remember setting a username and password up for phpMyAdmin.
So can anyone help me recover it?
I have full access the all the files.
Thanks :D |

The phpMyAdmin password is the same as your MySQL password. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Usually you would use root. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Well you can try using one of your script's usernames as that will get you to the same spot. Otherwise get your MySQL installer, reinstall MySQL over the top of your existing installation and reset your username and password.
NOTE: This will not removed your databases. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Yes i know it wont recover my username, but all this has happened ever since i changed my web server directory. So if i do a system restore will it revert the web server back to what it was? |

No. System restore only replaces system files, registry and drivers. Not software (unless the restore point was made by the software). _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)
