puertoblack2003,
How are you trying to connect to the second server? What is the URL you have used? How is port forwarding configured? _________________ Follow @abyssws on Twitter

puertoblack2003,
If you are using Abyss Web Server X2, why not creating a second host on it as explained in http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/articles/x2-hosts.html ?
Otherwise, please explain us how your network is setup and how port forwarding is configured? Which hosts are declared in your first server, which hosts are declared in the second? _________________ Support Team

no you missing the point.I already set up another home server that i setup for my dad i don't want mines to be shared with him separate tower.
He will share my same cable line though this is how i have it i have cable modem and a linksys router form the cable modem to my router and it has 4 ports available one I'm using for my server and one for my kids and the other one will be used for my dad. What i did before i buy another license i downloaded the free version everything is setup the server. Now in my router config i forward port 80 to my dads computer to his local port like mines but different local ip.I used a test domain forwarding to the second server. i configured the second server to receive that domain through admin panel and the problem i'm receiving the web page won't open up...on the second server
anything else i should do to configure it properly..thanks |

You cannot set a port forwarding rule to "forward" to two different locations at the same time. Your external port 80 has to be associated with a single IP and a single port (80) on a computer of your network.
To have a second computer hosting sites, you'll have to choose another external port (and your URLs will of course have to add that port number to them as in http://othersite:81 ). _________________ Support Team
