my server

win xp home edition sp2
abyss v1 2.4
ram=768 sd ram
type of site=wap
pentium (r) 4 cpu 2.00 ghz
hdd=80 gb
dlink -504t ,2 pc connect
speed down-1mb up-i dont know....
my wap site only display results for something.......
all of my wap index file just below 1mb

if 1000 user surf my wapsite at the same time,my server will slow or not?
because i had very big financial problem....so i can't buy abyss v2 or intel duo processor PC.......
so,,my server will have problem when 1000 user suft my wap site at the same time?

You need to know your upload speed as this will be the limiting factor. Go to www.speedtest.net and select a server nearest you to get a result.

So you get somewhere around 35KB/s. You wouldn't be able to have 1 thousand people.

To have 1000 people online at once you would need a very high upload in the region of 10Mbps (1200KB/s). Your server may not even cope with that demand either. Uploads at this speed are only acheivable in a datacenter with a dedicated connection (unless you live in sweden/japan).

It depends on how much bandwidth they require. Without that it is impossible to work it out.
