|
|
Hi all,
I’ve now started to transfer my manager game to be powered by Abyss. Some work is yet to be done(like domain name, testing the game with multiple users(How many simultaneous users can Abyss handle? How many users can my server/computer handle? How many users can my Internet connection handle and so on?)
So if you like to help me out take a look at http://213.141.92.119/default.asp?exec=info&lang=eng
To test the server, please log on to the game with the guest account with username: test@test.com and password: test, or even better, register to the game :P, and you’ll be redirected to the site powered by Abyss. If two of you simultaneously uses the guest account one of you might be thrown out of the game but still that isn’t the issue here, right? ;)
Thanks
Falcons
Mod's Note:
Replaced url with one that actually points to your Abyss site.
Falcons, feel free to re-edit this post when you get your domain issue corrected. ;) |

The url he posted is indeed not hosted by Abyss, but he was trying to make
an effort to show the Abyss site. The url to the Abyss site is...
http://213.141.92.119/default.asp?exec=info&lang=eng
which is powered by Abyss.

This topic was recently moved to a hidden forum for review. Moxxnixx has discovered
that the site's URL is Powered by Abyss when using their IP Address.
You should update your domain with your own IP Address. |

TRUSTAbyss, you were correct the first time.
His original link did NOT point to an Abyss served site. I edited his post to point to the Abyss site that he has.
Falcons, nice site you have. Good job. I'm not a soccer fan, but your site has much potential. When you get
your domain issue corrected, feel free to edit the original link back into your post. |

I am sorry, I should have been more careful.
It was never my intention to let you believe that the starting page, i.e. the domain name, is running under Abyss, so far it is just the inside of the game that is powered by Abyss. As soon as you log on to the game you’ll be redirected to the site powered by Abyss. I should have been more obvious with this!
The reason for choosing this path(starting page on different server and then redirection to Abyss) is because I haven’t completed the job yet and I don’t know how to connect the domain name to my IP address yet.
A lot of questions needs an answer before I can call this project done. Hopefully you guys can help me out here on how to solve different issues when using Abyss. One thing is how to set the server to handle scripts that needs several minutes to execute but that question might be a subject for another section.
Anyway, thanks for a very good and easy to understand server!
Cheers
