Having trouble with the Path statements if anyone is willing to venture into this with me. Can't get the PHP scripts to work right from the config.php page. _________________ Too darn smart to feel so darn stupid! |

change to:
<FRAME SRC="http://crownpc.no-ip.info/myspace/" NAME="redir_frame">
And Change this too:
<NOFRAMES>
Sorry, your browser does not support frames. Click <A HREF="http://crownpc.no-ip.info/myspace/" TARGET='_top'>here</A>
</NOFRAMES>
Hope that helps somewhat... _________________ Todd (Gannyaa)

I also noticed after reloading the page.... that your <a href>'s are all wrong
<a href="c:/program files/abyss web server/htdocs/myspace/train/">
change to:
<a href='http://crownpc.no-ip.info/myspace/train/'>
and same with all the rest.... none of this will work
c:/program files/abyss web server/htdocs/ _________________ Todd (Gannyaa)

Okay, I can see why the <a href's are all wrong. The PHP path statement is requiring me to use c:/program files/abyss etc. in order for the original config.php to even load properly. By using this as the ['pass_base'] required, all of the links keep going back in that direction from the php coding of the site. I will try changing all of these in the index.php page to see if that will work. Thanks for the input. This script has been a major 4 day pain. _________________ Too darn smart to feel so darn stupid! |

I was able to use the normal URL http://crownpc.no-ip.info/myspace/ for nearly all of the links and images to work. There are a few places where others would be linking to the actual images, and this was taken care of by changing the [base_path] to [url_path]. The only thing that does not seem to work is the christmas theme generator, which is run by javescript. If I change the image source to the actual source, anyone downloading the textbox script will not get the proper code, as it would look in ../images/snow.gif rather than actually link back to the real link. As well, I can not use the back button to go back after any internal pages have been opened. Not sure why. Anyone got any ideas on this? I hate to see dropping red exes. Thanks for all of the help so far. Greatly appreciate it. _________________ Too darn smart to feel so darn stupid! |
