Hi guys

I'm having trouble with my new sig file. I can generate the .png file conprising of background and text, but how do I embed the sig?

I tried using
Code:
<img src="http://viahome.co.uk/sig/sig.php">

But nothing is showing up. I think it has something to do with headers and getting php to display as an image but I am at a lost as to how to do that.

(as you can see from my sig below, lol)

Thanks
Paul

try this url as your sig:

http://viahome.co.uk/sig/sig.php/anything.png

(take a peek at the source of mine - the dynamic quote one)

you have to write it like this way in your profile page (sig field):

[ img ] http://viahome.co.uk/sig/sig.php/anything.gif [ / img ]

whitespaces have been inserted so as to show what to really write. in the actual implementation, please remove all the whitespaces.

Much appreciated

congrats!

keep in mind that this works only in phpBB's bb-code implementation pointing to an abyss webserver php/gif. i tried the same thing on another BB's bb-code pointing to (1) an abyss webserver's php/gif and then (2) another apache webserver's php/gif (different implementation) but i had to do some tweaks to get it to work.

for now, this would do in aprelium's forum. congrats again!
