Hi,
I use dreamweaver to make and maintain my websites, and it automatically creates the _notes folder in every directory. is there a way in abyss to deny the user access to all of these folders in one go?
These folders are in different levels and it would take a couple of hours for me to add them all to the directory listing table...

Thats strange, because I use dreamweaver (have done for about a year) and its never made a _notes folder

yea, I use dreamweaver too and I have only had a few rare times when it has made a _notes folder.

Are you trying to delete every _notes folder from the server or just deny directory access to each of these folders?

To deny access to them add an IP access rule for virtual path */_notes/* and add to its Denied IPs the IP * (which means all IPs). Add another rule for virtual path */_notes with the same Denied IPs contents.
In the directory listing parameters; add _notes to the Hidden files list.

I was looking through the abyss host console
Noticed that Access Control & Users and Groups icons can help you.
First set up an administrator account or an account by your name in
users and groups, click ok after you set your password
in Access control select the _notes virtual path
allow access only by check users
also deny access with your robots.txt file
Disallow: /_notes/ |
