http://www.TheMushroomPatch.com but not http://TheMushroomPatch.com (www is missing).
Also I have about 30 Domain Names IN-WHICH EACH NAME HAS TO GO TO A different folders but I can only get the DEFAULT folder (only one path) and not the other 29 names.

You cant have different content on www., www. is a reserved subdomain which cannot be altered.
You could, I suppose, write a script that checks for the www., and displays appropriate content _________________ Yarrt.com - Free Arcade

shanechancey,
When you create a host, you are free to associate it with one or many domain names: so if you want to have both mushroompatch.com and www.mushroompatch.com serve the same pages, all you have to do is to add these two domain names (because each of them is different from the other technically speaking) to the host names table (Hosts > Host - Configure > General > Names).
We also strongly suggest that you read http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=58477#58477 to understand how to setup hosts in X2 and how to test them locally. _________________ Support Team

I have done it in my DNS. When I setup my hosts in X2, I set it up with the www on it. Then, in the DNS I set it up so that anyone who types in just http://whatever.com will be forwarded to http://www.whatever.com In my opinion it looks cleaner anyway.
Hope that helps.
Edit: You can also do the reverse. If you setup your hosts with just whatever.com, point your DNS www.whatever.com to forward to whatever.com. _________________ This is me....I don't want to be like you. |
