i was looking for a blog for my websever and i was suprised to findnucleuscms.. which is opensource, it looks pretty incredible

http://nucleuscms.org/
http://nucleuscms.org/features.php

heres a small tutorial..

what you already need:

1 abyss webserver
2 php
3 mysql
4 phpmyadmin

if not have 1 - 4 already installed then you need more help from here, look at http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php.html and http://www.abyssunderground.co.uk/tutorials before you begin

download necleus, unzip it to your htdoc

name it whatever you like,

then got to the location where it is iwas unziped and check out index.php,

you can precreate the database in phpmyadmin (thats what i did) and then finish..

follow the instrutcions from there, passwords, usernames, ect

when it instructs you to delete install.php and install.sql, it's in the same place where you unzip i

now before you reload right click config.php and set it to read only
..

there it should work for you..

just use phpBB (http://www.phpbb.com) very easy to set up and manage and it allows users to start there own disscussions rather than continue on yours :D)

phpBB is a forum, not a blog
