Im connected wireless thru a residential gateway, which is the wireless modem i got from vonage to use for the phone. my computer is connected to it as a agteway. is there a way for me to bypass it wirelessly? the main cable modem isn't wireless, and i wanna use the IP that the cable company gives me so i can continue to use my Abyss web server. people can seem to connect to any of my sites.
I hooked my computer up to the main cable modem usin the network cord and it works fine! _________________ ~TRU~ |

well to use the cable moden you would have to plug the wire into the NIC on the laptop OR get a wireless router or wireless modem and connect that way :D (PS i dont recommend you use a wireless connection for your server this will couse major lag for the viewers ;) )
EDIT: Glad to here that :D _________________ Where have i been? School got heck-tick, had to move half way around the state, then back... and then i had to change jobs, so iv been away for a while :P |
