I just want to make sure.

In Virtual Server, Private IP, I have to put my IP not the router one right?

And in Private Port & Public Port, I enter 80 for both & Schedule is Always?

If this is right then what do I do? Do I have to setup something in Abyss Web Server?

Yes, for both questions.

No, there isn't anything in Abyss to setup.

Take a look at the following link for detailed instructions...

Does your site work when typing your public IP in the browser?

OK, let's get some info out of the way...

1. Are you sure you know what your external IP is? Go to http://www.aprelium.com/ip to be sure.

2. Can other pc's on your network view your site using the internal IP? (192.168.x.xxx)

3. Do you have a firewall turned on? If so, turn it off to test your site.

4. Your router might not support loopback (I'm not familliar with DLink routers), so you'll
need to use a site like www.proxify.com to test your site.

5. Is it possible your ISP is blocking port 80? If so, you'll have to use another port number.

3. The firewall is turned off.

4. Ill try the proxify thing.

5. It is possible but not sure.

You need to type the internal IP of the computer Abyss is installed on. Not the router IP.

On the desktop of the computer Abyss is installed on, go to Start Menu > Run and type in cmd.
When the command window opens type in ipconfig.

There you'll see the IP address that needs to be used.

yes but that shows the router ip.

fyi , the server is installed on a computer connected to the network and not connected directly with the cable modem.

You should have something like...
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.101
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

Normally, the Default Gateway is the router's IP address. Not the pc's IP.

its weird... have a look

Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection 2:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.100
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1

and now when i type 5digits.era.ca the D-Link setup wizard appears.

You're getting the router's config page when you type 192.168.0.100?
If so, then you don't have port forwarding setup correctly.

I know there are plenty of people on this forum using a DLink 614 with no problems.
Try looking at the following post to see if all your bases are covered...
http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3806

Sorry I couldn't help further.
