Ok. so i'm missing my system_32 folder, but windows is working just fine. when i go to the windows folder it doesn't appear to be there. i don't get it. is it just missplaced? can it be missplaced? i don't really need it but i kinna wanted to make some minor cosmetic changes. so idunno. if you know how i can retrieve it or obtain a new one PLEASE!!! help me. |

What version of windows do you run?
Most versions have a system32 folder and it cannot be deleted otherwise windows would not boot up.
Do you use dual boot? If so are you looking in the right drive.

Did you tell windows to "Show Hidden Files and Folders"? If not you probably won't see it. But if you do have it set to show them, the folder might be in another location .. but once again if it isn't you got major issues :] _________________ mysql> SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;

OK so... im running windows xp pro
i do dual boot, but with linux. and im positive that i'm looking in the right drive.
i did have a system_32 folder about a week ago...
and i just now recieved a popup from windows saying that i might have a damaged registry. OK. wow. that sucks. um... could that have something to do with it. i know this is a genuin version of windows. |
