Hello,
I am working on a program using PHP, MySql and java that is running on Abyss X1. I am no expert at any of these languages and must admit, I am learning as I go.
Everything seems fine on my end. I am viewing and testing on a different machine inside a local network. :D
Well, a friend checking my site over a web connection says that he has witnessed actual php source code being revealed to his web browser :( From what I understand it's not just error codes but an actual page or portion of my code with no html output.
I have not personally seen this and have tried to follow steps that he has described when it happened with no luck.
What could be the cause of this! Why can't I see it? could it be a difference in web browsers? Does it have something to do with my veiwing of pages locally. I cannot fix what I cannot see.
Thanks in advance for any help given.

If you installed PHP according to our recommendation (see http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php.html), that could never happen.
This cannot also be caused by a browser. PHP runs on your computer and sends the page to the browser. It isn't executed on the client machine.
Saying that, you should check the CGI parameters especially the interpreters and the CGI paths. _________________ Support Team
